Always useful to be able to create beaded shapes. Helps the fulfullment of particular designs. This is a simple primer or reminder of how to create triangle shape with peyote stitch.
Basically it is standard 1-bead peyote along straight edges and insert 2 beads at the points (just as if you are working a Herringbone stitch).
Row 1: Start with 3 beads, threaded twice in a circle. (shown here in red)
Row 2: Insert 2 (green) beads between each of the previous (red) beads.
Row 3: Insert 2 (blue) beads between the triangle’s “point pairs” and 1 (blue) bead along the straight edge. You can now clearly see the formation of the triangle shape.
Continue: you can keep building up the size of the triangle shape this way.
Of course there may be many ways using Peyote stitch and other stitches to create the beaded triangle shape. But this is definitely a simple and neat way.
