Round Poncho aka Circular Poncho, Circle Poncho. Shh … don’t tell anyone but I started this to be a bed poncho (to stay up in bed reading or just playing on the iPhone) … but it turned out as a full fledge poncho!!
This is going to a fairly long post as I will offer detailed instructions on how to make this round poncho. This pattern will be in 2 parts.
Notes:
- for advanced crocheters or those who are familiar with overlay crochet.
- you can use whatever colours you like. I have shown and labelled most of the colours I used.
- the yarns I used were suitable for 4mm crochet hook
- Tip: use needle join or invisible join when ending a colour row.
MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT
- yarn: Heritage Mills, Drifter by King Cole, Yatsal (multi hues), yarns from YarnParadise
- inspiration sources: paid patterns by Lilla Bjorn (Dandelion Mandala, Spanish Mandala Pillow, Joana’s Mandala)
- number of colours: 18
