This has been made and gifted as a winter gift. My only disappointment was that on receipt of this blanket, the recipient thought it was a big shawl!

I lost my comment: Let me try again. I was one of the happiest and warmest people our beautiful Helena sent this afghan/bedspread sent to me!! It is so soft on your skin. It is like silk to touch and yet it is soooo soft that it is unbelievable. Our Northeast in the USA is one of the coldest places I think on earth and this gorgeous creation keeps me sooooooo warm and feeling very regal because of the way it feels on bare skin. I LOVE it!! It is always visible as I keep it carefully on the back of my favorite chair when not being wrapped around me. Thank you just cannot ever say enough for this wonderful gift of art and love.
