This is a double layer, cushy crochet border (aka crochet edging, crochet trimming) I used in my Artist Trio Blanket. This crochet edging gives a firm yet flexible border, and offers a professional finish.
How to Make Cushy, Double Layer Crochet Border
With the colour for the border, I start off by working the in the round, with the front side of work (if there is one) facing up.
- R1
- R1 corner
- R2. Note: fpsc=front post sc
- R3
- finish R3. Turn work over.
- Notice ridge for R4
- R4 (on wrong side)
- End R4 with needle join
