Saying thanks is a good way to motivate one back into a bit of jewelry making. This was my first foray back into just that since the chemo got a hold of my fingers and nerves. It was a bit of a question mark if the numbed fingers could do the fine wirework that I was thinking of. But yay! They behaved! So Happy Birthday (albeit belated) Cindy Reed!
Cindy, my sister-in-law (well, almost) has been so kind and thoughtful, with her visits, messages, and presents to me before and after surgery, and during the long chemo road. When her birthday came around (and I forgot), it was a good prod for me to think of making something I hoped would fit into her colour scheme and taste.
There are no instruction nor construction notes this time; just photos. And also a big thank you to Di Parsons for her lovely handmade lampwork heart. It was just the perfect colour and the perfect heart to say “Thank you and Happy Birthday”.
