Flower by flower, this crochet flower scarf has been strung together to some day adorn some lovely person’s neck, mayhap on a breezy spring morn or in the dusky calm at the end of another happy day. Some DIY notes are included for those eager DIY crafters.

As per request, it is created predominantly and virtually exclusively, in the deep, soothing richness of Olive Green.

The neck warmer and fingerless gloves set is made with 2 detachable (magnetic flowers). A scattering of the deep, royal Purple Velvet Swarovski crystals on one of the flowers gives a subtle and enchanting flash of bling. Perhaps for a romantic assignation along the leafy greens of an autumnal walk? 😉

I am about to start my chemotherapy. I have been told that in all likelihood I will lose my hair. While I have never been a beanie, hat kind of gal, I decided it is time I had a little venture into making some beanies. They might prove useful!

In “Lessons from my first Crochet Booties“, I mentioned that I would be trying what looked to be simple crossover crochet booties – a free pattern by Louise Mac, found at Ravelry.
Well, I did try it and it is not quite suitable for an adult pair of crochet booties. Not without adjustments at any rate.
