Mandala Rug made in overlay crochet. Worked in extra thick yarns (at least requiring 7mm crochet hook) to give both bulk and cushiness. Fairly large – measuring 77cm in diameter.

Care
Recommended cold/warm gentle hand wash. Squeeze (not wring) out water. Roll in dry towel to absorb more moisture. Dry flat.

Short Personal Work Notes
While hugely adapted, I based some of the stitches on this overlay crochet mandala pattern. The tutorial is by LillaBjorn.

The outer edge is trimmed in reverse crab crochet. This gives it a more professional edging and an interesting finish.
Also note that the reverse side is also pretty interesting. This is often a common feature with overlay crochet.
