Making your own customised glass cabochons: from plain glass cabs to something uniquely yours.
This pictorial guide shows the creation of a customised glass cabochon used in “Busy Happy – a mix media necklace“.
The whole process starts off with some pieces of paper and some plain, clear glass cabochons. (Tip: you can also use clear glass pebbles – something you can pick up from a craft or 2-Dollar store).
Making your own unique cabochons is easy enough. What makes this process here slightly different is that it includes attaching rings for connectors as part of a pre-visioned final output. (See: “Busy Happy – a mix media necklace“)
I hope this pictorial guide on how to make your own unique customised glass cabochon will prove useful to you in your crafty journeys!
PostScript: I realize that I have used differently designed cabochons to illustrate this pictorial tutorial. However it should not detract from the underlying process which is the main aim of this how to article on making your own customised cabochons.
