“Black Bridal” Crop Jacket is worked in black iridescent rocaille and hex seed beads with extra small clear iridescent sequins and smattering of crystals. Total production time took over a month to complete.
“Black Bridal” crochet jacket is so named as the fabric design inspiration came from a picture of a small bridal fabric swatch (wedding magazine). And well, as I have worked this in black … it is not a far jump to decipher why this named the “Black Bridal” jacket!
The crop jacket can be worn with equal charm, sexiness, and elegance, buttoned or unbuttoned. The buttons are vintage multifaceted domed crystal buttons (produced in 1970s/80s).
The back is designed with equal care. The “black bridal” design continues with equal detail.
All the beads, sequins, & crystals are integrated into the crochet fabric; they are not sewn on later. The entire crocheted crop jacket has been meticulously drafted, sketched, graphed, and then bead crocheted.
